WE DO WORMS RIGHT!

The European Night Crawler is a much larger worm than the Red Worm. Their scientific name is Eisenia hortensis. Their reproduction rate is about double every 130-180 days. This is a very good bait worm simply because they have such a strong hide. They can fit large hooks and will not fall off. They are also very active under the water. They have been used to catch bass, pan fish, and turtles. This is the only worm that can be used successfully in ice fishing. They also make great food for pet turtles or amphibians. This worm can do composting but the Red Worm is recommended for high composting rates. These worms enjoy shallow soil with plenty of surface area. In other words, you need to have beds with a big length and width but only require 8-12 of inches in height. These worms also feed great on the Purina Earthworm Chow. Their optimum temperature is room temperature (60-75°F). Order here
